Trump's USDA delivered $221 million directly to WNC farmers who lost everything. Trump gave NC 6 full months of 100% federal cost coverage — one of the longest in FEMA history. The same people driving on rebuilt roads, drinking clean water, living the comeback... are out here protesting the man who made most of it happen. JUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! It's not that hard. He knew you hated him before the storm. He knew that when he landed in Asheville. And guess what? HE SHOWED UP AND HELPED YOU ANYWAYS!!!!!! And today you grabbed your little sign and costumes, got in your little Subaru, you drove on those rebuilt roads, over those rebuilt bridges, passed rebuilt houses and rebuilt parks, to protest a man who helped your city. You look stupid, out of touch, and insanely ungrateful.

Jose Medina-Medina, the 26-year-old Venezuelan man accused of killing 18-year-old Loyola student Sheridan Gorman in cold blood, was robbed, beaten and shot in the head in 2018 in South America. There’s bullet fragments in his brain and a portion of a skull is missing. He is now developmentally delayed, has the education of a seven-year-old, and can’t read and write. Prosecutors say they have overwhelming evidence of his guilt: video that shows him in a mask, gloves, and dark clothes, hiding behind a lighthouse on Lake Michigan, and shooting Gorman in the back, killing her almost instantly. He had no connection whatsoever to Gorman.

Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. 1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress. 2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely. 3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation. 4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election. 5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal. Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?
