@MahGill @gregwrubell You are purposely missing the point when you say that. The point is that byu is the first 11-1 P4 team to not be in the top 10. Ever. They should be in before the playoffs game but they are not because college football has turned into figure skating where we use eye tests.

BYU played in the first live college football game on ESPN in 1984, and ESPN has enjoyed having BYU in its late-night windows for decades, and ESPN gave BYU a TV deal during independence…but this graphic from ESPN is indefensible at best and antagonistic at worst.
