“President Tinubu, on your mandate we are kneeling. Just days ago, I complained that gas increased from N1,400 to N1,550 within hours. Today, I came to refill my small gas cylinder again and was told that 1kg of gas is now N1,700.” — MC Oz reacts to another increase in gas prices, just days after speaking out about the previous hike.

“Like I said yesterday, prices of goods are increasing every minute in Nigeria. I just finished complaining about foodstuffs in the market yesterday, and earlier this morning 1kg of cooking gas was ₦1,450. Now, just a few hours later, it has increased again to ₦1,550.” — MC Oz voices out over the rising cost of living in Nigeria.

Featuring eye-witness accounts and unseen archive footage, @bbcworldservice has announced a landmark documentary titled Surviving Cultism: Voices From the Wole Soyinka Victims - directed by Nigerian filmmaker Oloma Juice - available to stream from June 1st on BBC iPlayer/YouTube. Wole Soyinka is not just a well known Award Wining Writer, his pen wasn't just mightier than sword, he literally carried the sword by founding the first Cultist group in Nigeria that is destroying students in Universties today. We must remember his Influential legacies in sending young minds in Nigeria to their early graves. Cover page designed by me.

US Shifts ‘Christian Persecution’ Narrative From Nigeria to Tanzania After weaponising the “Christian genocide” narrative against Nigeria, and ultimately showing its hand with a policy proposal focused entirely on the country’s foreign alliances and resources as against any supposed Christian plight, Washington is now turning its attention to Tanzania. At a US Senate hearing on April 28, Republican Senator Ted Cruz accused Tanzania of suppressing Christians, despite presenting no concrete evidence. The Spearhead’s feature-length investigative documentary titled “What Happened On October 29?” examines why Tanzania has suddenly become the latest target of this recycled US propaganda effort, the economic and geopolitical interests driving the campaign, and the complicit local actors. The documentary premieres in Accra on May 26, in Dar es Salaam on May 29, and in Nairobi on May 31.
