@ryry5125 @EvilTwinn01 @Jacksepticeye @IronPineapple_ You can make the difference that you lose from levels with gear upgrades and camping buffs, and if you really need to make an escape or run through a lot of mobs, having a Fighter pawn that can aggro, or using trickster if you have it, can make the getaway much easier

So I rolled credits on Dragon’s Dogma 2, and I have so many thoughts on the game as a whole. The ways it succeeds should be studied, and the ways it stumbles are baffling. Really torn on if I wanna cover it because the discourse surrounding the MTX has broken some people’s brains

@ryry5125 @EvilTwinn01 @Jacksepticeye @IronPineapple_ No problem! They understand the big fights are the fun ones so they're more rewarding over the trash mobs, and most quests are to either encourage exploration or reward you with an advantage/alternate route in later quests rather than the XP they give

@TazPsi @EvilTwinn01 @Jacksepticeye @IronPineapple_ I really appreciate this answer, thank you. The big monster fights are my favorite part so when I come back to the game, the combat will feel fresh and I will definitely enjoy it more!

@ryry5125 @EvilTwinn01 @Jacksepticeye @IronPineapple_ The best way to level is to go and search for large monsters (Cyclops, Ogres, Griffins, etc). They give a ton of XP and, if you know how to deal with them, are very quick to kill. I reached the end credits at level 50-ish without ever feeling that I was grinding for the XP.

@EvilTwinn01 @Jacksepticeye @IronPineapple_ I thought of that but I did all the side quests I have, and I ran through cities talking to people but no new ones🤷‍♂️ my only 2 quests are waiting days to check back in so maybe the game wants me to pay for a hotel and sleep for a couple days💀

Guys... The DD2 MTX can ALL be obtained in the game. Just because there's MTX does not mean you need to purchase it... They're literally there for the people who don't want to play the game. DD:DA was the exact same. Chill.
