Most high school players aren’t built like FBS starters. And that’s the truth. This data shows the average size of current FBS starters — not recruits — starters. If you don’t match it today, don’t panic. There are THOUSANDS of college opportunities at the FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels. Get on a roster. Develop. Produce. Then let the game take you where you belong. Stop chasing logos. Start chasing development.

Noah got drunk. Jonah ran away. Moses stuttered. Abraham was old. Lazarus was dead. Peter had a temper. David had an affair. Zaccheus was short. Martha was nervous. Paul was a murderer. Jacob was a cheater. Gideon was insecure. Sarah was impatient. Elijah was depressed. Miriam was a gossiper. Thomas was a doubter. God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

I find it extremely difficult to listen to a coach at a HS clinic who recruits kids and had a plethora of D1 players on his roster. I know he has value as a coach, but give me the guy who went 5-5 with a team that shouldn’t have won but one or two games but he COACHED.
