After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. Not far off having to cut a chord here I’d say. The injuries are now seemingly impacting how he kicks a ball. Will come a point when we say thanks and we move on and would be nice if people looked at something similar happening now and went ‘fair enough’.

For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years. The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars. It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city. That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.

I said a few weeks back that none of us have a clue what’s going on behind the scenes. The Salah interview gives us an insight that all isn’t well on or off the pitch. Personally, I think he should have made those comments to the manager, and only the manager. However, we did need someone to have the balls to have a go at what’s going on, and I get where he’s coming from. He has been made the scapegoat for the team not doing well, when it’s more of a system issue, or lack of one, more than it is a Salah issue. Nothing fits at the moment. And the players aren’t able to deliver whatever it is the manager wants them to do, which at the minute is pass sideways for 90mins and don’t take any risks. It seems any initiative has been taken away from them. I couldn’t for the life of me sit and explain what our aim is with that style of football, but it’s terrible and needs to change. Looks like a team who are lost, and the players seem to have lost interest too. There’s a number of players who can feel aggrieved at the managers decisions of late and somethings going to have to give sooner or later. I just don’t know where we go from here. Baffled
