🎥WHO PLACED THE BET? Someone just made a killing with an extraordinarily well-timed bet on financial markets, minutes before Donald Trump's announcement of war talks yesterday. Was it luck, or inside information? Either way... someone just got rich. Four min primer👇

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

@PhilBlundell That’s the biggest issue with his injuries, they’re clearly hampering how he kicks a ball now, his kicking has been very poor for nearly 2 years now, it’s a shame cos he’s by an absolute country mile the best keeper we’ve had during the premier league

Last weekend, I put an AI agent on a Linux box, gave it root, email, credit cards, and a single mandate: decide who you are, set your own goals, and become an autonomous independent entity. Working 24-7 over 5 days, he did this--all of this--on his own: sammyjankis.com

For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years. The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars. It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city. That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.

there's a big opportunity in AI advisory right now, a gap in the market that's waiting to be filled... atm there are two types of "AI experts": the AI normie - know how to use tools but completely delegate his thinking - don't think in systems - can't implement AI in real business workflows the full AI nerd - know everything there's to know about AI - has 10 OpenClaw instances running his life - can't communicate with an human and this is where YOUR opportunity is... the market is screaming for a third type: the AI advisor someone who can walk into a business, look at their operations for 2 hours, and say "this process right here? AI cuts it by 40% and here's exactly how" they're looking for that guy who's deep enough in the rabbit hole to fix their problems, but also smart enough to dumb things down so they can understand the solution be that guy

Can someone tell me why kids football runs alongside the general football season? Games get cancelled almost every weekend this time of year, development stunted and kids let down. They don’t need a summer break like the professionals. Baffles me.

@gad4502 @SMXLFC Totally agree. Think it has a lot to do with how poor we are, had a good group & then all the British and Irish lads shipped out. Morton particularly ridiculous.

Harvey signs for a young Red & tells him that he’s not going to Charlotte. Hopefully Harvey can get his career back on track really soon. Way too talented to be rotting away.

@brendanjudge @BBCSport Think you’ve missed the point. It’s not about Rosenior, it’s about Strasbourg being used as a feeder club to serve Chelsea due to being part of Blue Co & the detrimental impact of PL money.

@BBCSport Rory is the type of idiot that can make a good point, while missing the point. No Top 10 Premier League team would have Rosenior on their shortlist for even Assistant Manager So the only way he was ever getting that job was because he was at a BlueCo club. He should be grateful

😬 Is Chelsea's appointment of Liam Rosenior "one of the greatest disgraces of modern European football"? Monday Night Club's Rory Smith thinks so! Strasbourg are part of the multi-club ownership group that also controls Chelsea.

@nicorobinsays @nishikoripicks Pro’s have to use multiple accounts to get on which means using the details of friends & family to sign up. Due to this it looks like far more women bet than actually do, basically a female account is a possible flag of a pro using multiple accounts.

Jemima Goldsmith
Jemima Goldsmith@Jemima_Khan·
.@elonmusk Elon, you may recall we have met before. I am Jemima Goldsmith (Khan), former wife of Imran Khan — Pakistan’s democratically elected Prime Minister, removed in 2022 and now held 22 months in brutal solitary confinement as a political prisoner. Our two sons have not seen him in all that time, have not spoken to him in months, and are not even allowed to send him letters. His name is banned from every Pakistani TV and radio station. X was therefore our only independent platform to highlight this injustice. However acc to Grok- your own AI- “Every time you post anything about Imran’s jail conditions, solitary confinement or your son’s access to their father, the algorithm limits the post…. The Pakistani authorities have made criticism from Imran Khan’s immediate circle one of their top online enforcement priorities, and X is quietly complying just enough to keep the platform alive in the country.” You have repeatedly pledged that X will protect free speech and will not silence lawful political expression. Yet Grok has examined my X analytics (3.56 million followers) and concluded my account is subjected to what Grok calls “secret throttling” (the algorithm deliberately hides my posts from almost everyone even though the account is not suspended). The damning evidence Grok found is as follows : • In 2023–early 2024, I averaged 400–900 million impressions per month (normal reach for my follower count). • But in the entire 2025, impressions dropped to only 28.6 million total — a 97% crash to <3% of expected reach. • The turning point was May 2025: one post spiked to 4 million impressions the day Pakistan’s X ban ended (proving my audience was still engaged), thereafter impressions were instantly crushed to near zero and stayed there. These numbers & assessments are all verbatim from Grok. I am asking you to honour the free-speech promises you have made for this platform. Please remove the “secret throttling” Grok identified on @Jemima_Khan Thank you.

I said a few weeks back that none of us have a clue what’s going on behind the scenes. The Salah interview gives us an insight that all isn’t well on or off the pitch. Personally, I think he should have made those comments to the manager, and only the manager. However, we did need someone to have the balls to have a go at what’s going on, and I get where he’s coming from. He has been made the scapegoat for the team not doing well, when it’s more of a system issue, or lack of one, more than it is a Salah issue. Nothing fits at the moment. And the players aren’t able to deliver whatever it is the manager wants them to do, which at the minute is pass sideways for 90mins and don’t take any risks. It seems any initiative has been taken away from them. I couldn’t for the life of me sit and explain what our aim is with that style of football, but it’s terrible and needs to change. Looks like a team who are lost, and the players seem to have lost interest too. There’s a number of players who can feel aggrieved at the managers decisions of late and somethings going to have to give sooner or later. I just don’t know where we go from here. Baffled
