@zekesyeet Miyazaki doesn't like making sequels, only reason DS3 exists is so DS wouldn't end on a bad note. And yeah, coming from a massive FromSoft fan, I can admit, their storytelling can be terrible or convoluted at times but I find their environmental storytelling intriguing personally

@Tdp4Yt Still would've preferred a more normal way of telling the story, but I enjoyed it much more with an open mind and with the right expectations
Sucks knowing that there likely won't ever be any kind of sequel to the game. It's got such a cool world, atmosphere, and cosmic horror

Finished RE9
Enjoyed Grace's journey & character; the gameplay/design was an enjoyable blend of the best RE games in one package. A good mix of survival horror & action. Leon's story hits harder & steals the show. Surpassed my expectations & now my new favorite RE game

@zekesyeet Bloodborne is Miyazaki's favorite child, I think it's just a matter of time. FromSoft has over 17 games in development right now so I don't see it happening for now

FromSoftware would apparently rather Bloodborne rots away forever than for literally anything to be done with it, just like Todd Howard with Fallout
And people acted like Sony was the issue when Shuhei Yoshida already said it wasn't them

Bluepoint Games, the PlayStation Studio that was recently shut down, pitched a remake of Bloodborne in 2025 as their next game FromSoftware said no, “the studio was told that the numbers made sense but FromSoftware didn’t want it to happen” [via Bloomberg]
