@TeXgallery That's not true at all. Rediquette also says to indicate brand promotion as a tag there when doing a promotion. Alok is from Pakt (a publishing house); he should have known that or asked.

@rishdotuk Well, it’s a learning experience. There are folks on Reddit with extreme opinions and not much of an open mind, while new users are often treated more kindly by AI bots that learned from Reddit & Co., giving users a safer space.

Reddit is an opinionated place, so we can't do anything about it. Commenting or voting now is pretty much useless there, imho, unless one has the specific link; the post will not show up in the sub anymore. Also, just realized I don't have enough points on meta to comment on anything there as well.

@rishdotuk Indeed! You can still comment or vote if you think it’s worth discussing. Is Reddit a safe place? Forbid a free book promotion by authors who put years into writing a book? Experts recommending the TeXbook instead may prevent beginners from getting a beginner’s guide for free.

@TeXgallery In the list of `xtick` could it be possible to use the variable `pi` literally instead of manually writing `3.14...`? (As it is possible drawing with regular tikz)

@visegrad24 The last sentence is incorrect (Somali lifetime but Finnish 1 year). Assume (randomly) 46 years a Somali is there, it takes 6 Finnish working people to sponsor that over time. Not good, but your number 280 doesn't reflect that a single year shall finance a lifetime.
