@TeaFea2 @bestofStarTrek Fair enough point, he was basically cardboard apart from that however. Spock had something, he was dare I say, intriguing. Where as he wasn’t interesting in the slightest.

@crike2004 @bestofStarTrek I think that added to his character. Vulcans are more emotional than humans so his character was constantly fighting negative thoughts and the urge to get angry.

@bestofStarTrek No, he’s a very hate filled person and that comes through the character. I know a lot of fans feel this way. He is very negative and not particularly likeable.

@Solyricon This was my old boss before I took over his position when he left. I had nurses and doctors asking me where the snacks are when I was living below the poverty line. I told them I couldn’t afford it. My old boss was married to an engineer so he had the cash to stock the snacks.

A woman at my old job used to keep snacks in her desk for everyone. Headache? She had medicine. Missed lunch? She had granola bars. Bad day? Somehow she always noticed. People called her “the office mom” like it was cute. One week she stopped refilling the drawer. By Thursday people were hovering around her desk asking, “Wait, you don’t have anything?” She laughed and said, “No, I got tired of restocking it.” The weird part was how disappointed everyone looked. Not because of the snacks. Because they’d gotten so used to her quietly taking care of everyone that they forgot it was extra effort in the first place. After that, she kept snacks only for herself. And honestly? Good for her.

About as clean as it’s going to get. We live in a tiny little itty bitty little place with birds and a home gym among other things. Only so much can be done.

I’m thinking hardcore about rehoming my ringneck. We just didn’t bond and it’s been 12 years. She is bornavirus + so no sanctuary will take her. She also can’t be handled. My plan was to breed her but that can’t be done because of the bornavirus.

This is me for the next little while. My third knee surgery. The end of my professional football career. More time on the couch than I’m used to. Focusing on what I can control. Good quality nutrition and recovery. Never underestimate how lucky you are to move your body each day.
