one of my favorite practice techniques is drawing/tracing over free coloring pages (of usually disney characters) to get my own style to shine through and to get back to drawing without having to think much. i love coloring color pages too. do other people do this? i did it a ton as a kid, drawing the same character over and over again from the same page or how to draw book. it's a weird comfort thing for me i think.
