In Sierra Leone, access to school does not always mean access to learning. But together, we can change that. At Teach For Sierra Leone, we are working to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead. Through our Fellows, we are transforming classrooms, strengthening foundational learning, and building a generation of leaders committed to lasting impact. But we cannot do this alone. We are calling on partners, institutions, and individuals who believe in the power of education to join us. Your support can help us reach more children, empower more teachers, and expand life-changing programs across underserved communities. Because when we invest in education, we invest in the future. 🤝 Partner with us today 📧 info@teachforsierraleone.org

Fellow Spotlight: CATHERINE NAOMI CONTEH In Vaama Community, Moyamba District, Teach For Sierra Leone Fellow Catherine Naomi Conteh is transforming early childhood education through dedication and strong community collaboration. Upon her arrival at Roman Catholic Primary School Vaama, the ECD class lacked a safe learning environment, operating in an unfinished and unsafe structure. Through her leadership and partnership with the community, the space was transformed into a safe and conducive learning environment for young learners. Beyond the classroom, Catherine mobilized community support to meet the needs of her pupils, resulting in the provision of uniforms, daily meals, and proper seating. Today, children attend school with renewed confidence and enthusiasm, learning in an environment that reflects care and possibility. Catherine’s work highlights the power of leadership and community engagement in driving meaningful change in underserved communities. Her story stands as a powerful reminder of what is possible when passion meets purpose in education.
