Today marks the beginning of #BlackHistoryMonth. Celebrating the achievements of Black Americans is a critical piece of understanding our history and shaping a better future for the next generation.

Presented today to Iowa administrators and we shared how co-regulation and brain aligned discipline requires a relational window of tolerance! Trauma responsive!

Successful management does not mean compliant students!

None of that bothers me as long as we clean up after ourselves and learning and kindness are taking place. Important to reflect on compliance rooted behavior management and what truly does or doesn’t impact student learning and success.

As a trauma informed educator its interesting to pause and reflect on what I let go off in the classroom. My students often sit on desks, put their feet up, and draw on their desks.

Tony this is untrue! It saddens me to see your words. sharing why we feel anxious,& how we can help our students to reach the cortex of the brain! There is no racist content in my research & application! I’ve shared in 80 counties and across the world! Our children are hurting!
