Hi! I’m a high school teacher in a low income district. Our SpEd students learn how to wash clothes and they are out of detergent. I was asked if I could help them. Not only does it help coaches with clean uniforms and towels and for students that may not have access to a washer and dryer, it also helps make them feel like responsible and helpful parts of our community . @TeachWithRiss I used to order party favors in bulk from Oriental Trading or Amazon and add some candy. Maybe you could find some cute stuff in the dollar store or the dollar bins at Target. Do they still have those?

I was going to ask if she minded skipping that this year but she posted it without bringing it up so I am going to try and scrounge up 21 games for my class!

Another teacher has family and friends sponsor her students and gets them a game for the holidays. The others and I do not have the people for that but we tell her to go for it! This year her and I share a set of twins and I do not want mine to be let down. (pt 1)
