@MrBoothY6 Our deputy moved when the strikes were on. She found it tricky that we had to discuss whether to tell leadership if we were in or not.

Has anyone on the leadership scale moved from the NEU to the NAHT and seen any actual benefit? Just trying to decide if it's worth the effort.

My job as SENDCo is to level that field by ensuring every family has someone who understands the law and can advocate for them in their corner. If a family gets lawyers engaged - great, less work for me. But if they dont or can't, I'll fight for them every step of the way.

@WhiteRoseEd can/should infinity+ be used instead of your booklets/worksheets? I have seen this and I’m sceptical.

@Mr_Raichura 100% agree Questions serve to keep everyone listening and simple retrieval opportunities. I now never expect much to go into the heads of learners if I haven't questioned it during the lesson… and its frightening when you first use as you see how many weren't listening!

Misconceptions in Primay Science has been really helpful. As has (although not a book) the curriculum notes in the science section of completemaths.com

We justify our rage and other poor behaviours on social media by making use of othering. It's okay because they are SLT, an academy, a HoD etc. We homogenise a group and pit ourselves against them. If you catch yourself going down that route, it's worth taking a moment to pause.
