@TeachesPrimary it was definitely very early in the match...and yes, nowadays a clear straight red card, in those days, freekick, let's get on with the game chaps!

@Grn2775 @ffcnonsense @UndrTheCosh No problem. You should also know that another lie told at the time was that local roads near the stadium would be named after areas/landmarks/history in Wimbledon. Perhaps you can name the stadium after some of them? (Unless that promise was another lie of course) 👍

On this day in 1988, Wimbledon won the FA Cup. Lawrie Sanchez, who scored the winning goal, questions whether AFC Wimbledon are right to claim him as a club legend, given he never played for them.

@TeachesPrimary I think it's a bit of a myth that it happened early in the game

@KentWomble In spirit, yes. In substance, absolutely not. So what next? Shall we celebrate FC United of Manchester winning The Champions League?

One more time for the people at the back who find this particular day a bit difficult. Wimbledon won the FA Cup. And we are Wimbledon.

According to him Milton Keynes is 30 miles away and we was formed in 2022 😂😂 he's right he didn't play for AFC Wimbledon, thank fuck he's seems a proper wanker, of course us fans see it as the same club we always supported but he's not a fan.

@MCwoburn @mkdfin If we can secure investment for a stadium expansion, no reason we can't consolidate L1 and hope to hit some Lincoln type underdog magic to get the club back in the Champs. 3-5 year plan I guess

Well, well, well. The most corrupt person in UK politics bought a £1,400,000 property in cash just after receiving £5,000,000 from a crypto billionaire who lives in Thailand. What was all that shit about security? Rotten to the core. @Nigel_Farage @reformparty_uk @TiceRichard

The only England national football team player who refused the order to perform the nazi salute before the match against Germany on 14 May 1938, Stan Cullis, simply said: “Count me out.”

@TeachesPrimary @ffcnonsense @UndrTheCosh it’s off of a roundabout mate, idk off of the top of my head. They aren’t ‘routinely’. Find the % of stadiums that are named by their road to the ones that aren’t

@Grn2775 @ffcnonsense @UndrTheCosh (You've never heard of Maine Road have you? Leeds Road? Elland Road? White Hart Lane?) Stadia are routinely named after the roads they are on Now, what road is your stadium on? You keep bottling the Q.

@TeachesPrimary @hattermad1969 yes but anyone who buys a season ticket turns up to most games. Or maybe that’s not you, sofa fan who sits behind his laptop all day looking for reactions from other people whilst patting his year 3’s on the head
