I love coaching to build leadership capacity. Today we focused on norming practices, observing classroom instruction, unpacking lessons, debriefing with feedback, and identifying areas of support for teachers. Getting down to the core, to improve teaching and learning.

I’m re-reading “The Networked Activist Teacher”, @jelmerevers’ chapter in our book @Teaching4IR. It feels as current as it did 3y ago, but now, after a semester of political economy with professors @rodrikdani and #RobertoMangabeiraUnger, I’m getting so much more out of it 👌🏻

Gentle reminder, everyone won’t be “happy” during the holidays. Adults and children have experienced the loss of loved ones, housing insecurity, and major uncertainty. Now more than ever an act of kindness or simply asking someone how are you doing, can go a long way.

We are going to fight for educators and students. That means hiring more counselors and school nurses. That means paying educators what they're worth. That means protecting the right to organize.
