National Safety Apparel (NSA), a leading manufacturer of high-performance personal protective equipment, safety apparel, and electric utility products, announced plans to hire 65 new positions following its recent acquisitions. The project was awarded a JobsOhio $200 thousand Workforce Grant. The expansion of production capabilities and resources at the Cleveland facility will position the company for continued growth. The JobsOhio Workforce Grant will support the recruitment and training of additional workers needed to meet increased demand. NSA will also invest $1.3 million to build out its existing space and update machinery and equipment. Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a global leader in developing and manufacturing precision energetics, launch and landing, and safety systems for defense and space applications, has announced plans to open a facility in Solon. The company will establish operations at 28775 Aurora Road in Solon, creating 75 new positions. The Ohio Department of Development announced that a tax credit was approved at yesterday's Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting. The expansion directly supports the growth of PacSci EMC and its ability to meet rising demand for precision energetic and electronic components produced at the new facility. Gerber Poultry, LLC, a family-owned poultry producer, has announced plans to expand its Kidron operations!
