At HOME, the children explored the galleries and completed an observation activity looking closely at sculptures and artworks. They took part in a visual art workshop, creating a whole class canvas inspired by the buildings, people and green spaces they noticed on their journey.

Year 3 had a fantastic day taking part in our Network Rail creative project with HOME Manchester. We travelled by train to Oxford Road Station, where the children learned about train safety.

Don't forget this Thursday is World Book Day! Children can come to school either in their pyjamas or dressed up as a character. We will be taking part in lot's of fun activities throughout the day. #TeamRushbrook

World Book Day 2026! We are looking forward to a fun filled day of sharing stories with our friends, hot chocolate and lots of other book related activities. Children can come to school in their pyjamas or a character costume if they wish.

As part of winning Rushopoly, our class got to enjoy another cooking afternoon! 🎉 We baked a cake completely from scratch — making the sponge, the jam filling and the cream ourselves. It was such a fun, delicious experience and we were all really proud of how it turned out. 🍰
