I’m so heartbroken. I’m not an American, I don’t have the right to vote in the U.S, But I am human and I am scared for the world. The amount of people that say “you’re not American you have nothing to worry about” or “this won’t affect you stop worrying” when I tell you that the U.S influences a lot of changes in the world I truly mean that. I am scared for my future and the future of the world. The future for women, the future for LGBTQIA+ people, the future for BIPOC people. The future for democracy. This isn’t just “another election” this will change and shape the future for years to come within the U.S and the world. The clear misogyny, sexism and racism that occurred this election season and as seen in this result is saddening. To all my friends who are American and live in the states. I am so sorry. I’m so sorry that your country failed you. I am so sorry that this was the outcome. But stay strong and keep going. As hard as it may be you have to keep going on and being LOUD! And if you decided to vote for this racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic felon to be one of the most powerful people in the world. Please remove yourself from my life. If you support this man’s ideals. Please remove yourself from my life. If you thought to not vote or couldn’t make the choice between the two main candidates. Please remove yourself from my life. It’s truly that simple. Today is a sad day. Please do what you need to look after yourselves, know that you are still so loved. We will get through this. Together.

👋💜 Hey, everybody. Today is World Mental Health Day. We have the best community, and we always want you all to feel supported and heard. Today, we’re launching mental health resources that you can use when you need extra support, someone to talk to, or want to find ways to help a friend or loved one. We’ve built a new widget that includes confidential mental health resources. You can filter by area of need. For example, if you want to talk to someone about anxiety, you can search for that support specifically. You can also filter by location, so that you’ll be directed to services nearby or local to you, if preferred. And these tools will be available in 11 languages. By navigating to the widget, found in our Safety Center, you’ll find a number of resources and helplines available in your area. We wanted to create a centralized hub that you can quickly access whenever you need it. This is one step we’re taking to better support our community, and we’ll continue to expand on these tools.
