What's particularly interesting about the players the Lions are losing is that they're Brad Holmes' biggest free agent successes: Anzalone, Robertson, Lopez, Raymond.

Pistons defensive rating has slipped all the way to tenth since post all star break.
Their competition has elevated, but thats not the brand of basketball that’s gotten them to first in the east.
