Diving back into the nightmarish @TenebrisSomnia a little deeper than before... and I'm so glad I did. I finally got a chance to see Ivan, he seemed haunted. Just as haunted as Julia about their first kiss. I’ve become convinced that Julia is actually haunting Ivan. It explains why, when all goes dark in the hall, she acknowledges the angel. She haunts their memories, the remnants of their life - Ivan trading a piece of his soul for a glimpse of her again. I love how every play feels different: new discoveries, new combos, new strategy. At the heart of what makes retro games timeless is how they grip you and pull you back in time and time again. This particular time I decided to try and abandon this hellish complex altogether... Julia was not having it. I also had the "glorious grim" idea of blowing up the stove. This was my most disappointing endeavor; it led me to rely on my speed and wrench with no bullets until the bitter end when my trusty gun was returned. It made for great gameplay... now, I just need to find the missing lever. ❤️ @DaveOshry , @NewBlood , @SaibotStudios , @andres_borghi , @davyd_music - The #TenebrisSomnia demo has become my weekly comfort game.
