When did this become normal in Ghana? Why are unemployed graduates being asked to buy vouchers just to check the status of their employment applications? What would happen if applicants were allowed to check their status for free? What is Ghana turning into? Has it really gotten to this point? The Ministry of Education and GES know that over 50,000 graduates applied for this recruitment exercise, yet only about 7,000 will be employed. On top of that, the more than 50,000 applicants are being asked to pay GH¢25 each just to check whether they were successful or not. Many of these graduates are unemployed and struggling financially. Why add another financial burden just for them to access information about their own application? This is heartbreaking. 😭🇬🇭
