Clares first win in a Munster Minor Hurling Final came in 1981. On that day the captain was John Lynch from Sixmilebridge. John is seen in the photo below raising the Munster Final Minor cup.

Made no difference in the end, but should this not have been a black card penalty for "careless use of the hurley"? Clear swipe across Keith's elbow that caused him to drop the ball?
