I hope this crossings is for the best interest of Nigerians not just taking power, now that you are in NDC, how are you going to have agents in all the polling units? This one that the new INEC electoral law now allows any document even if it does not have the commission seal to be presented on Election Day, guys be ready for the highest massive rigging ever.

Yesterday, we took a bold and decisive step by formally joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). At the residence of Senator Seriake Dickson in Abuja, I announced that our decision stems from a deep commitment to democratic values. We are determined to provide our people with a credible platform where they can thrive and realise their full potential. I therefore call on all our dedicated supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to join the NDC and stand with us in this renewed fight for good governance and true democracy. - RMK

It’s beyond me how, or why, any Barça fan wouldn’t have the utmost confidence and appreciation for Flick. I sometimes feel he’s a victim of his own sucess. Reality: two seasons ago, it felt like the road back up was as treacherous as it was long. To think a manager would come in, with barely any transfer backing, and turn things around INSTANTLY. Lewy looked done. Raphinha & Frenkie were an outcasts. Ferran and Eric? Barely in the picture. Meanwhile, the dysfunction and lack of balance in the midfield practically drove Xavi out. Today, we’re annoyed at things like CL exits in the last 4 and the last 8. Meanwhile, pre Flick, we were in the literal Europa league two of the three seasons prior. That is perspective. Everything system has its flaws and fans can, and should, absolutely call them out. But everything is relative to the context it’s placed within, and any analysis that fails to factor in that context just isn’t worth the time.

Flick está consiguiendo los puntos de Guardiola y los goles de Luis Enrique, pero con Ferrán, Fermín y Lewandowski pre jubilado.

Good idea, I knew him specifically speaking English during interviews was deliberate and that’s very ok for us, I didn’t know he speak a little bit of Spanish, it’s ok to create some distances with the Catalan media we know how embarrassing and annoying they can be with their questions.

🚨 Josep Maria Minguella: "When we were told about Flick, the first impression was that a coach who had beaten us 8-0 with Bayern wouldn’t be ideal. But he’s proven to be great at Barça." "One of Flick's strengths is his choice to learn Spanish and Catalan, but handle press conferences in English to maintain distance and avoid unnecessary explanations." "Flick is doing a fantastic job, but the club should help him by bringing in new figures to take Barça to the next level in Europe."

There are a lot of questions about the starting XI for the Clásico: Lewandowski or Ferran up front, Rashford or Roony on the right, Raphinha’s fitness on the left, and Eric or Koundé at right-back… but for me one thing is clear: Gavi has to start. Tactically, he gives two key things in a game like this. First, protection in central areas in front of the backline, and second, his counter-pressing, which is crucial to limit Real Madrid’s transitions, arguably their biggest threat. And beyond tactics, he’s just made for these games. High intensity, physical battles, constant aggression… he naturally raises his level in Clásicos and plays with extra motivation. For a match like this, that feels essential.

The key to winning real is midfield play, if we can perfect the midfield and close any threat from their wing we can win the game comfortably, Madrid rely a lot on their wingers, and that would be devastating if we play with out on out wingers, the key to winning Madrid is to play compact in midfield and target when Lewy is free to pounce on their defence, I think it’s going to be an interesting game.

Culers, don’t just come online and start criticizing your players because they had series of bad games, first your team is one of the leanest team in the league, you have a small squad depth, yet every time you have the luxury to rotate you also criticize, olmo hasn’t been his best but I disagree with you saying his signing was a mistake, it was necessary and he has proven himself, coming through for us throughout last season. Last night game was below par but look at his compatriots in midfield also had bad game days, Pedri has been off sometimes this season but yous haven’t criticized him for once. Give this lad a break he has been good and justified his transfer fee.

I’m going to say something that might sound reactionary because of his performance last night, but it’s actually been my stance since we signed him. I think bringing in Dani Olmo was a mistake. We already had an attacking midfielder capable of producing 30 G/A in a season, so while Olmo offers a different profile and adds depth, i think that's far from a priority. That money could’ve been much better spent elsewhere, on a left winger, a long-term striker, a centre-back, or even a fullback. In my opinion, the squad would've been in much better position right now if we reinforced one of those positions instead of signing Olmo. And that’s without even getting into the injury concerns we were already aware of. Maybe he proves me wrong later on, but up to now I still think it was the wrong decision, and he hasn’t really justified his price yet especially considering how valuable that fee was in our financial situation.

We should not look at him like a night in shinning armor, he had done very well for a first season on loan, this was a player when he joined Barca he lacked confidence and was rejected by his own boyhood club, came to a new city, new country, new language and a team that demands your best every game day, common cut him some slack he has done well, and I believe flick likes him a lot and would keep him.

@UgoOsinobi We really can’t, not with the type of strikers we are being linked with, imagine being linked with sorloth, joao Pedro and the rest, yes Lewy had a dip in form this season. He is miles ahead when he picks top form.

@NealGardner_ We aren’t in competition with Madrid, if they like they draw, that’s their own business, our duty is to win the league on our own terms.

Now for the big question. Would you rather Madrid lose/draw tomorrow and we wrap the league up ASAP, or do it by winning the Clasico itself? For me, it’s quite clearly the latter.

I’m not really in favor of keeping Rashford, but it’s also a bit harsh to say this wasn’t a successful loan. For me, a successful loan isn’t just about whether you keep the player, it’s about whether he actually helped the team during his time here. And I think Rashford did. In a season where Raphinha was constantly dealing with injuries, he gave us real output and some important goals and assists. That alone makes it a successful loan in my eyes, even if we don’t keep him.
