In good minimalist design: • unnecessary elements are removed • spacing is intentional • content becomes easier to focus on Simplicity is carefully designed, not accidental.

A few months ago, I tried recreating a clean-looking design I saw online. I removed a lot of elements thinking: “Less content = better design.” Somehow, the result became harder to use instead of cleaner. That’s when I realized minimalism is more than just removing things. 🧵

DAY 18 🔥 Yesterday’s task was pressure. 😂 We had to create a full event brand experience for Creaticon 2026. Logo, color palette, typography, and hero design, all in one. 😭 Finished just a few minutes before the submission deadline. 😂🔥 Check out my entry.

Affordance is a design principle that helps users recognize how an interface element should be used just by looking at it. It uses visual cues to suggest possible actions without needing extra explanation or instructions.
