I’ve decided that a whole month away is long enough, so May 1st is the day I’m going to return to my novel and dive into my second draft. I’m excited and nervous for this first round of editing and revising, but I’m confident I can make big improvements on the book.

I finished the first draft of my novel! Next step: put it aside for a few weeks and try not to think about it. Then I can start the first phase of edits and revisions. There's a long road ahead before it's ready for publication, but I feel so good about getting to this point!
