Technology Department at Prosper ISD

On this day our district officially purchased our domain thanks to Pat Spaeth, who in 2000 was half the technology team! Two people, one website, and the start of our digital journey. Look how far @ProsperISD technology has come.

Cezanne, Connor and Chris represented the @ProsperISD Technology Department at the Baker Elementary career day today. Our IS team enjoyed talking with students about technology and sharing how it supports learning across Prosper ISD.

Honoring Jessica Sargent as this month’s G.O.A.T. for the @ProsperISD Technology Department. As our department purchaser, Jessica keeps everything moving behind the scenes and makes sure our campuses have what they need. We are so grateful for the impact she makes every day.

Behind every login and every data point is a team committed to excellence. Our @ProsperISD Information Systems and Network Services crews took full advantage of the staff PD day to sync up and share knowledge. We are always learning to better server our students and staff.

A decade of behind-the-scenes support. Chris Cannon, Director of MIS at @ProsperISD , has volunteered on the TCEA Tech Crew for 10 years. Not only a dedicated leader, but someone who consistently gives back to the education community.

Student data is protected through multi-factor authentication, strong password practices, and advanced security tools. @ProsperISD Technology Department also carefully vets every digital resource used in the classroom.

Big win for campus support! Our district techs completed two Extron training courses, unlocking new tools to service existing equipment. Another investment by the @ProsperISD Technology Department in strong, reliable classrooms.

Snow has melted and work resumes. The @ProsperISD Technology Department is back at the Admin Building, supporting schools across the district.

Think before you share. Many free apps and online services trade your personal data for access. Not all requests make sense and unused accounts can keep collecting information long after you stop using them. @ProsperISD
