in 2019 i went for my squat PR, slightly twisted my knee, pushed through the rep because thats what you do when you're 23 and stupid and the next morning i couldn't move my leg since then it's been six years of specialists. one said it was a quadricep lesion, told me to rest for two weeks and stretch, that it would resolve on its own. didn't work one said ACL, prescribed hot-cold therapy and stretching, said give it time. didn't work one said it was psychological and that i needed to learn to live with the pain. genuinely insane in retrospect, and obviously didn't work cortisone injections, tecar therapy, hot-cold therapy, stretching, massages, MRIs, x-rays, etc thousands of dollars for nothing i accepted that this was going to be my life, an unc with chronic pain as a 60yo, i trained through it, never heavy, hiked carefully, knowing a slight twist in my left leg meant two days of not walking, i stopped jumping and accepted that a 24 year old's squat injury was going to define my physical life forever two months ago i injected BPC-157 into my knee. two hours later i walked without pain for the first time since 2019 i've been doing 1-2 mg/day since, local and systemic a research peptide did in 2 hours what the "establishment" couldn't do in 6 years (funny enough is that this is not FDA approved because no one can make money from it) obviously this is not medical advice but three wrong diagnoses, six years of chronic pain, thousands in treatment costs, and zero results from the approved pathway vs two hours and a peptide makes you think (it also made my pp bigger and harder which i found out after the fact. sometimes the universe just decides you've suffered enough)

@IterIntellectus @WeaponOutfitter Herniated disc left me barely able to walk for a month last year. Started BPC-157 part way into that month and it got me back to speed. 500 mcg a day worked for me. I pray other people give it a shot. Idk where I would be without it. Great post

@SandyofCthulhu I've been to the museum in Hiroshima. Since I don't know Japanese, I could only read the English texts. Not once is the United States mentioned in relation to the bomb.

One thing I've noticed in watching several Japanese shows in which the atomic bomb is reference is they never quite blame the USA nor the Japanese refusal to quit. They always blame "war". Apparently "war" all by itself created and dropped the bomb. There may be many Japanese shows that DO blame the US or the Japanese for the bomb. If so, I've not encountered them.

Reminder that Cowboy Bebop is so peak that many anime fans consider it passe to even acknowledge it. In order for the show they prefer to even qualify as "the best," Bebop needs to be taken out of the running. It's so good, its status as the best is such a given you're considered the asshole for even bringing it up. You have to keep it out of the conversation for any other title to compete. There may be no other piece of media to have that effect on its medium.

The left plays to win, the right plays not to lose. The left will make citizens out of half a million illegals with a stroke of a pen and if the right tries to deport 1% of them they will activate their shock troops on the streets, have their propagandists in the media in attack mode and have their activist judges blocking removals. This is why any right winger who caved to the pressure over the shootings in Minnesota is a useless, fool. We are playing a rigged game where they can import people by the millions, fundamentally altering the fabric of our societies and causing untold havoc at a national scale. They can ignore every rule, regulation, and law ever written in the pursuit of their goals, but if the right steps even one toe out of line in the process trying to fix this mess than all of a sudden we're a society of "Laws, principles and human rights". If the right has any hope of fixing our countries it needs to be as motivated and devoted to winning as the left is. We need to harden out hearts to inevitable ugliness that will come and accept that things are going to get messy. To fix atrocities like this it's going to take an entirely new political paradigm and if you're on the right and you don't have the stomach for that, do everyone a favour and just get out of the way. The only way out is through.
