Hi, I’m Teddy! I was adopted in 2017 after I spent the first 3 years of my life as a research beagle. 😞 But I love my life now! My human sister @Callie06 runs this account. I have one beagle brother, Sammy, and a “not a beagle” brother Rigby (2nd pic)!

It is as I feared. Walter is now functionally paralyzed. He is on doggie hospice; we're giving him as much medication as we can so that he's comfortable, and we are going to spoil him rotten for the next few days. He's been the bestest boy. I feel numb.

@ddoggiesmommy Josee (left) has a short little tail with the tiniest fleck of white flag too. We have debated if it was cropped/injured, but the vet doesn’t think it was.

Update on Brie! She went to the vet yesterday to make sure her throat wasn’t causing the coughing (due to the heavy chain🤬). We had the vet check her tail and she was unsure if it was cropped. Said more than likely she was born with her adorable little stumpy wagger-

Friends. I have such sad news to report. My baby girl Roz went OTRB yesterday, 2 November at approximately 2p EDT. I’m devastated. Spending time with Daphne and trying to keep my mind off of things. We love you all very much.

I was fresh out of the lab, so this was probably the first time I’d ever seen a mirror.

Not good news. The vet didn’t think there was anything that could be done for Bentley and it would only continue to get worse and be in more pain. So the Yahoo is OTRB and revenge peeing with all his pals. He was such a good dog.

Tomorrow marks one month since Teddy went over the rainbow bridge. I miss his goofy little self. I miss him sitting pretty just because you took a step near him. I miss him jumping on the top of the chair to greet us when we got home. Love you, little beagle. 🌈#beagle

@TedderTot2014 We're so sorry for your loss. We adored Teddy and his birthday greetings were always the highlight of a special day. He was a beautiful beagle boy and will be missed greatly.

I still can’t believe he’s gone. It all happened so fast. One week ago we found out he was sick. 6 days ago I got the “magic pills” that I thought might give us a few more months. 2 days ago I walked in the house and watched him go within minutes. I just can’t believe it.

I held him afterwards. He looked so peaceful. He was always so beautiful. We put him in the bed he loved and just petted him. He just looked like he was sleeping. You’d never know. I just can’t believe how quickly everything changed.

I am so thankful for the 7 WONDERFUL years I spent with my family. They spoiled me the way I deserved to be spoiled. I will miss them very much. Now it’s time to meet Sammy on the other side. 🌈

But today, after eating a hearty breakfast, I became more sluggish and droopy. Momma texted sissy and she came over almost right away, thinking it could be almost time. But not realizing it would only be minutes after she arrived that I would cross the bridge.

There, I was diagnosed with a splenic bleed, which was said to likely be cancer. Surgery was an option, but the odds were terrible. So I went home with meds to make me comfortable. Thanks to the meds they gave me, I felt pretty good that night and ate a bunch!

Recently, I had a couple days where I was not very interested in food. But then I started eating again and we moved on to other scary things—bruvver Rigby’s emergency gallbladder surgery. But last week, I was acting weird again, so my momma took me to the vet. (I hate the vet.)

I was known for my signature move, sitting pretty—for food, for loves, or for no reason at all. If I did this on your lap, it meant a trust fall was coming.

In 2020, sissy started this Twitter account. We’ve shared Christmases, birthdays, Easter egg hunts, Halloweens, and everything in between.

I took my journey over the rainbow bridge tonight around 6:45pm, just after my sissy arrived. I was surrounded by my family. They petted me & told me what a good boy I was as I took my last breaths. My family is heartbroken. I had the best 7 years with them after a rough first 3.
