First time shooting a roll of black and white film. Finally got it developed after sitting in my fridge for almost 2 years.

I just developed a roll of film for $16. Includes shipping and scans. Anyone using a film lab with better prices than that?

Most of these shots I’ve been posting from St. Augustine were taken on film “without looking”. So no viewfinder to frame up the shot. I saw something I liked, held camera away from my face, and took the shot. Why? To see if even a bad photo on film can still look good.

Would I have taken this photo with a phone? Probably not. Film makes you intentional. It teaches you to pay attention. To truly see what’s right in front of you. I’m enjoying this new path I’m on. And as always… I’m happy to answer any film questions you may have.

@absoIute_batman Kodak Ektar H35 or disposable. Both suck in lowlight so plan accordingly

@flodyssey @absoIute_batman I agree with H35. Great way to start with less stress of screwing up.

@absoIute_batman kodak ultra f9 for actual 35mm and if you wanna be cheap about it the kodak ektar h35 which uses half of each film cell and you'll get double the exposures
