@Pirat_Nation This might actually sell me on it. Control schemes have become too homogenized. The first 2 3D generations had more gameplay and feel variety because controls weren't as standardized. Almost every game required learning the controls. But many games played very differently.

Crimson Desert players are asking for refunds due to the game's terrible clunky controls. "Whoever designed the control scheme should seek employment with the devil."

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever: If you achieve peace, what should you do with Russia in the long term? Live in eternal hostility, or aim for normalization? Yes, then you should aim for normalization. I think that is completely normal, if you frame it correctly.

@Tededeben @TheIshikawaRin As tech analysts, their job is to advocate for the consumer. In addition TO reporting on the tech. Challenging Nvidia on technical weaknesses of a product is important for advocacy without condemnation. They failed in this. Trust is forever lost as a result.

I'm still really hesitant to trust Digital Foundry going forward because of their initial coverage of DLSS 5, the blind praise was just really bad in my eyes. An apology is one thing but I can't help but feel like my view of Digital Foundry has been tainted long term.

They are tech analysts. People that get angry at Digital Foundry for talking about tech need to go out and touch grass. They even talk about issues with artistic intent in the initial video. It's not their jobs to condemn Nvidia so any AI haters can feel good about themselves for being outraged. It's their job to explain the tech.

@JohnCleese He was taken out of context by foreign press. Again. He never said that we should pursue normalized relations at this point.

Belgian PM Bart De Wever is a disgrace to Europe. By openly calling for normalized relations with Russia for cheap energy, he is completely selling out Ukraine. This short-sighted appeasement is dangerous, pathetic, and a total betrayal of our values

@de_NVA @Bart_DeWever Man toch! Uw manier van denken gaat blijkbaar enkel over welvaart door energievoorziening! Dat is wel belangrijk maar het welzijn van gewone mensen ontbreekt volledig in uw agenda?🙄

@MarioNawfal It's about 15-20% of the population and those numbers are dropping. But 15-20% of 90 million people is still a lot. Notice though the median age of Iran is 34.5 years. Where are the young people?

@Osint613 If there was ever any doubt Scott Ritter is an obvious propagandist for Russia, China and Iran. Same with Douglas Macgregor. The amount of BS they are spewing has become even more obvious and ridiculous with the Iran war.

MUST WATCH 🔴 I feel it’s important to understand what the Pro IRGC camp thinks. Mario Nawfal hosts “expert” Scott Ritter in front of his 3 million followers, where Ritter claims Israel lost the war and is on the verge of collapse. “90 million Iranians have rallied around this government like nobody ever anticipated. So there it is. Israel lost the war. This was a regime change war. Israel made a condition to the United States beforehand. Don’t start this war unless we can guarantee the outcome, which is the end of the regime. That outcome cannot be achieved right now. So all that’s going to happen is Israel is going to be destroyed. That’s all that’s going to happen. Iran is far bigger than Israel. Iran can absorb far more damage than Israel can. Israel’s about to be turned upside down. So now we go back to what does Israel want? They want an off ramp. They wouldn’t want an off ramp if they thought they were winning. They’re not winning. They know they’re not winning. They know they’re not going to win. The same thing with the United States. Iran is about to turn up the heat. And as they turn up the heat, more critical infrastructure will be destroyed. And Israel’s not big. There’s no strategic reserves. There’s no secondary plan, third plan. When you lose your primary infrastructure, you’re done as a nation state. And Israel knows that. What you’re going to see in the coming weeks if this war continues is that Israel will cease to exist as a modern functioning state. And then suddenly, you’re going to be millions of Israelis, you’re going to wake up to the fact that there’s no food, there’s no water, there’s no energy, there’s no life. And they will leave. And that’s the end of the Israeli state.”

🚨 BREAKING: MAJOR SIGNAL FROM INSIDE IRAN A political declaration has just emerged from Arab tribes in Iran’s Khuzestan province — the country’s most important oil-producing region. In the statement they make several striking points: • They reject the Islamic Republic and call for the complete removal of the regime • They demand a secular democratic government based on human rights • They stress that Khuzestan is an inseparable part of Iran • They call for unity among all Iranian ethnic groups including Kurds, Azeris and Baluch • They express support for Reza Pahlavi as a unifying national figure for a future transition Khuzestan is not just another province. It is the heart of Iran’s oil industry and one of the most strategically important regions in the country. When voices from inside that region begin calling openly for a democratic future beyond the Islamic Republic, it signals something much bigger: The cracks inside the regime’s foundations may be widening.
