A disturbing scene unfolded along Thika Road after a bus driver was attacked by bodaboda riders following a road accident, in an incident captured on video that has since gone viral. The footage shows the riders surrounding and assaulting the driver with helmets before a police officer at the scene intervened. Another bodaboda incident involving a drunk lady. She had no money to pay the bodaboda rider. When the operator confronted her (together with his colleagues), she became violent. She grabbed a projectile and hit the rider. The rider decided to face her like a man, and the brawl escalated. Attempts by the guy in red to separate them did not succeed. Who is wrong between the two?

@Mcgrlenin @NytoP2PMwangi No. The boda guy contained the lady. Restrained her and demanded for fair. First action was out of self defense. Then what happened next is him trying to restrain her else she could pick something else and hit the boda guy.

SUSPECT ARRESTED, CANNABIS WORTH KSHS. 8.1 MILLION SEIZED Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) in the Rift Valley Region have arrested a suspected drug trafficker and recovered a large consignment of cannabis following a dramatic pursuit along the Eldoret–Nakuru Highway. The incident occurred on March 14, 2026, when officers on routine patrol flagged down a blue Toyota Voxy, registration number KCS 496B, after it aroused suspicion. The driver defied orders to stop and sped off, prompting a high-speed chase towards the Kaptembwa area. During the pursuit, detectives deflated the vehicle’s right front tyre. Despite the damage, the suspect continued driving towards the 140 Area before abandoning the vehicle in a vacant plot near Kaptembwa Police Station and attempting to flee. The driver, identified as David Muraya, 35, was swiftly cornered and arrested by the pursuing officers. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of thirteen sacks containing dry green plant material suspected to be cannabis sativa, weighing approximately 272 kilograms and valued at about Kshs. 8,160,000. The suspect remains in police custody pending arraignment in court on Monday, March 16, 2026. @Anglina_2210 Where there's a presidential vehicle, there's always an ambulance escorting. Where there's a police vehicle going to save lives, an ambulance must accompany, where there's a fire track heading to an emergency site, an ambulance always escorts.

@Anglina_2210 An ambulance is only allowed to stop at a rescue scene and at the hospital only. Being on the road is the least..it should siren up immediately and report to the hospital as it awaits emergency calls or organ/patient transfers. Keeping it on the road is risking life of many.

SAD UPDATE: Pain and grief have filled a family in Thika after learning that their son, John Mwangi Nduta, has died in Russia. Mwangi, a former soldier based at Eastleigh Airbase, travelled to Russia in May 2025 after being recruited by an agency called Global to serve in the Russia-Ukraine war. He kept in touch with his family and called home often, but in September he told them he had been injured and wanted help to return home for treatment. Soon after, communication stopped. Months later, fellow soldiers who came back to Kenya told the family that their unit had been attacked and Mwangi was badly injured and wanted to come home. This week, the family received confirmation from Russia that he died in September while on duty. They are now asking the government to help bring his body back to Kenya for burial. 📷 #Kiambumagazine
