The legal path to U.S. residency takes YEARS. That’s why I totally oppose “pausing” issuing Green Cards to those who’ve already PROVEN that they’re law-abiding. Israel is a sovereign nation. We don’t always see eye to eye in everything, but neither do they themselves see eye to eye on everything. Israel is a diverse, secular country, and the Gulf states are in various degrees of flux, politically, culturally and economically. War makes it all much more complex. Bottom line is I don’t see Trump trying to micromanage or dictate what they do vis-a-vis Iran. I see the US preferring coordination over unilateral attacks by other nations, but not a party pooper if they want to give Iran nuggies.
