5. Tony Finau ($7,700) I can't tell you how many times I have been accused of being too reliant on my model. Let me dispel some of those rumors by using Tony Finau this week! If it goes wrong, consider me beholden to my model for the next few tournaments, as this is a rare answer from me to ignore my returns. I am doing this for two reasons. 1. Finau was a model gem for me at the CJ Cup. The key to that answer is that it did not necessarily come from his pre-tournament data. Instead, it landed from the in-tournament metrics that skyrocketed him up the sheet over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I hit multiple matchups from Friday to Sunday, including a fun ensemble of pictures I kept expanding out of Finau beating up his opponents. Maybe I will have him double-kicking Rasmus Hojgaard for the -110 bet that I grabbed early this morning at FanDuel. 2. Finau is not your classic case of bad stats. At his best, he is a top 10? golfer in the world. I am ignoring the data and hoping for the best.
