Rhodes’ promo was not listed internally on the rundown because it was not scheduled to take place prior to the social media reaction. Rhodes and other members of the creative team have legitimate gripes with TKO for sticking their nose in storylines close to WrestleMania multiple years in a row. (Bodyslam+)

I don’t believe this one bit. If HHH inserted McAfee at the request of TKO to appease them, why would he have Cody go out and do this and then leak the intentions to the dirt sheets? This is just a cover up to make it look like HHH was against it as well, but in reality he couldn’t care less. They are putting reports out like this to save face and how the rest of the show was booked last night goes to show this. The booking is horrible and they just don’t care.
