This draft Conversion Practices Bill raises serious concerns about parental rights and free speech. This comes alongside the restart of puberty blocker trials for children as young as 11. The 2024 Cass Review highlighted weak evidence for these interventions in minors weak data on long term benefits and risks to bone density fertility and cognitive development. Many European countries have restricted or banned them for minors on similar grounds. Restarting access at such young ages contradicts the caution urged by that review.
Parents have primary responsibility for their children including guiding them through distress without rushing into irreversible paths. Laws that treat disagreement with gender ideology as potential criminal coercion invert this by empowering the state and activists over families. Normal parenting talking about biology or encouraging patience should not be a jailable offense.
This trend prioritizes affirmation over evidence based caution and erodes fundamental rights to raise children according to biological reality and family values. It deserves strong pushback to protect kids and parental authority.

IT'S REAL BAD.
The British government just came with a new bill that could throw parents 5 years in jail if they try to stop their child from wanting to change gender.
I had a look at what the new "Conversion Practices Bill" says.
And it's WAY WORSE than you think.
Any "conduct" from a parent toward their child that causes the child to "believe that they have or do not have" a "particular" identity will be in violation of what they call "conversion practice".
In other words, if the parents tell their child that they are either male or female and the parent is using what they call "coercive words" which causes what they define as "serious alarm" to the child that has a "substantial adverse effect" on the child's day to day activities, this could then be enough to put a parent 5 years in prison.
PLUS an UNLIMITED FINE.
Years in prison and a limitless fine, where do they even come up with this?
You just know that the activists will use this law to persecute and throw any parent in prison who is in opposition of woke gender ideology.
The state wants to take away parenting rights from the parents and have full control over children.
This comes just days after Britain restarted trials where they will give puberty blockers to children as young as 11.
Britain is turning into a truly evil country at this point.
This goes against all human rights.

Good point on identifiability. Real individual deaths from disrupted programs would likely surface with names stories and medical records especially in clinic settings for HIV or malaria.
Broad statistical models projecting hundreds of thousands or millions of excess deaths rely on assumptions about continuity substitution by other donors and baseline trends. They are not the same as documented body counts with traceable victims.
Claims of immediate mass casualties from cutting waste and fraud have not come with clear lists of specific people who died solely because of those decisions. That gap matters for credibility.
Health programs can face real disruptions and some increased risks but the apocalyptic framing often outruns verifiable evidence. Prioritizing accountability in spending does not equate to deliberate killing.
