I see so many people in the comments saying "That's just 4hours daily"... One thing i'll say is, Seniority & Experience is realizing that more hours doesn't equate more value. 3 to 4 years ago: I did 10–15 hours of coding daily. Burnout was my "badge of honor.", High effort, but inconsistent output. Today: I average 5 to 8 hours daily. Way more productive than I’ve ever been. Focused on output, and not the clock. Yes, AI helps speed things up, but the real shift is mindset. It’s not about how long you sit in the chair, it’s about how much quality you ship.

Earlier this year, I made a bold decision to halt my doom-scrolling addiction and go all-in on acquiring new knowledge. Knowledge renews your mind and gives you wisdom for a new age. I started an MScFE program. I read two books daily; software design and architecture in the morning, finance in the evening. In just two weeks, the difference is undeniable. I’ve started a new investment journey, armed with better information, and I’m restructuring my finances to reflect long-term thinking. Attention is currency. What you feed your mind today quietly shapes who you become tomorrow.

Ways which you can prevent AI from rendering you jobless 1. Advance your skill 2. Learn an AI-related skill 3. Make what you are doing about AI For example, if you are a data analyst, you can position yourself as an AI data analyst someone who not only analyzes data but also understands how AI tools and models improve insights and decision-making. In a nutshell, keep learning new things to remain relevant, adaptable, and valuable in an AI-driven world.

Let me add this. Remote jobs are under threat because of AI, Nigeria and Africa has a whole will get more impacted. This is emphasizing those who earn FX via remote jobs abroad. There would be lesser remote jobs because AI would have automated many jobs. I fear for new entry into “tech”
