Hey Everyone, please be extremely careful and super diligent when it comes to who you follow on here. There are SO MANY fake scam accounts from Nigeria/Africa that post click bait, QFS scams, confusion, promises of dates, Q slogans and also steals others content like my memes, changes them and posts them as their own. I believe they work in networks and all run multiple accounts that you see on the platform. They always choose Q related type names and handles. Many of them will fish for followers by following you, waiting for you to follow them back and then unfollowing you after and most of the time you won’t notice it. This is how they grow their follower numbers which deceives other people into thinking they’re a legit account. They also use old accounts they previously set up and then change the handle to a Q related handle to make it look like their account has been around for a long time. Their goal is to scam you and make money. And then when you try and call them out they will block you! They will also tend to put out posts asking you whether or not you agree with something or to put a 🔥 in the comments if you agree, this is engagement farming to get you to comment on their post to validate their account and for them to make money. Before following an account take a moment to check the location by hovering over/clicking on the date their account was created which can be found in their bio at the top of their page. This will show you the location of the account. It’s very clear when an account is trying to pretend to be someone they’re not especially when they’re posting click bait type things or mimicking the posts of those they are impersonating. These African accounts also pretend to be different Anons and they will choose names close to our Anon handles and use our profile pictures so you don't notice the difference so please make sure to not give them any attention and when you see one the most important thing to do is to report the account and also notify the Anon they are impersonating so they can report it too. You can report it for "impersonation" or for "spam", but I have found that reporting them for "spam" tends to get them removed quicker. The more due diligence everyone does, the less fakery will spread around the platform and it will help prevent the imposters of some of us from gaining any traction. Here are two recent examples of two FAKE accounts below who stole my meme, changed it from Blue to Gold and removed my watermark and one is trying to impersonate Praying Medic. When I tried to call the fake Praying Medic out, they immediately blocked me. Make sure you’re not following them! Both of these accounts are fake African accounts: @praying_medic1 and @qthestormrider0 and they are likely run by the same people. You can start by reporting these two so we can get them removed! It takes several reports, so the more of you who report them, the better!! Keep in mind they will also change their handles regularly to avoid detection, so once an account is "found out" they will often change the name/handle on the account so you won't know it's still them and when you go to look them up under their old handle it will say "this account no longer exists" and it's not that it doesn't exist, it's that they changed their handle. So if they do that to either of the two accounts I mentioned above, don't be surprised. It's a constant merry go round which is why we need to report and get these accounts permanently suspended each time they pop up. Again, looking at the new location feature available on accounts is the best way to detect these frauds. We must unite against those who are trying to infiltrate the Q movement!!
