@Mangusu My job has been very stressful lately, and they haven't shown any appreciation to my work and passed me for promotions when I've been a top contributor; I need to apply to new positions but I haven't done that in 8 years and it makes me very anxious 😅

@SpadesKitty The people making decisions to relocate them in or breed them are experts in the field who deal with all the benefits/drawbacks and public opinion constantly, and obviously the aquarium is not profit motivated. The aquarium is AZA accredited so you know they're well taken care of

@StagSteak @SpadesKitty While I could agree that the benefits of cetacean captivity - education, research.. are outweighed by the negatives on the animals' welfare, this is a nonprofit which still needs money to care for their current population; they can't be released so no other solution exists.

If you are going to FWA please be aware that the Georgia aquarium houses Beluga whales..If you are aware of what captivity does to this species💔
The Georgia aquarium is cool, but sadly I cannot support them because buying a ticket supports dolphin and whale captivity 💔💔

@FuroFur @Foxyeen @LisanSnowTiger Il y pas des cons moins chères, ou des furmeets locaux ? Sinon toujours possible d'organiser. Le problème des cons c'est que plus il y a de monde, plus il y a besoin de chambres et vu que la quantité d'hôtels avec un nombre suffisant de chambres est limitée, ça devient cher.

Fun fact for my European friends -
In America if your flight is canceled or delayed by weather, the airline just has to rebook you - Hotel, Food, Travel Expenses, and anything else that’s costs money is on you 🙏

@303SnowWolf I would think this only applies to controlled airports, and is the responsibility of ATC. If uncontrolled I'd assume it's on the PIC to determine what they think is a safe separation, since there doesn't seem to be any legal reference saying otherwise.

Back to flight school with 87% of you! JO 7110.65, 3-10-3, Same Runway Separation. Your twin Piper is a Category II and the 172 is a Category I, meaning you can legally land while he’s still on the runway if he’s at least 4500’ down it (and it’s daylight hours)
