The group has enjoyed visits to the Guggenheim Museum, MOMA and The High Line, and absolutely loved their time working with Broadway cast members in a special Back to the Future workshop - before seeing the show itself on the big stage!

It has been an extremely exciting start to the Christmas break for some of our Creative Arts students, who have been visiting New York City!

A rousing night of festive music was the perfect way to spend our penultimate evening in school. Huge thanks to all who attended our annual Winter Concert.

Lower Prep enjoyed some festive fun in PE today with Polar Bear Crawls, Stuck in the Pud and Naughty Elves vs Santa! They had lots of fun whilst improving their passing, catching and fundamental fitness for rugby to round off their block of work this term.

Year 7 pupils had a wonderful afternoon at @DarlingtonHipp yesterday, watching the vibrant and lively Sleeping Beauty pantomime. The students embraced the fun, joining in with the lively heckling and two of our stars were even invited on stage to be part of the Panto band!

The U13 girls bounced back with incredible resilience today as they became semi-finalists in the Sisters n Sport National Netball Shield. With impeccable precision and flawless teamwork, the girls came out on top against St Aidan’s with a final score of 24-10.

The U12 boys followed up their recent success in Bradford with an outstanding performance at the North of England Indoor Hockey Tournament yesterday. The boys proudly claimed joint second place overall, a huge achievement at such a competitive level.

A favourite day of the year for many - the Christmas trees have arrived! ✨

The Food and Nutrition kitchen has been a hive of activity in recent days, with pupils across all year groups engaging in practical lessons exploring balanced diets, food provenance and farming methods, to name but a few.

Nursery pupils were overjoyed this week as they arrived home to find some special post from Father Christmas himself! All of the children's hard work has been recognised - from trying hard each day to being a kind friend. The children are all thrilled to be on Santa's nice list.

We are excited to follow the progress of this year’s Public Speaking Team as they begin their journey in the English-Speaking Union’s Churchill Public Speaking Competition tonight. Good luck to our 2024-25 team, consisting of John, Hannah and Isaac in Year 10!

As part of the most recent Sixth Form Social, Year 12 and 13 students took the opportunity to enjoy the festivities at York Christmas Market last Friday. In suitably chilly conditions, students sampled the sights, smells and tastes of the festive season.

Wednesday marked the District Cross Country competition at Norton Sports Complex. Well done to all who competed, and also to our seven qualifiers Kyle, John, Jacob, Harriet, Lucie, Annabel and Martha, who will go on to represent Stockton District in the next round in January.

Preston Primary School joined Teesside High School's Upper Prep pupils for sessions focusing on the Greek and Roman world yesterday. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of learning about the Roman military and the Greek alphabet.
