The Lucy Letby Netflix documentary was supposed to be the Magnum Opus of the Cheshire Police's PR branch. All I thought it did was show how unintelligent the lead detective is. DCI Paul Hughes struggles to speak. I've heard more eloquence from a drunk.

I've been getting loads of flack because there's definitely NOT a cult of anti Letby campaigners who are actively stalking X by putting 'Lucy Letby' into the search bar and then aggressively attacking anyone who questions the guilty verdict. They're also definitely not paranoid.

@Teeth_go_Grey @GistWillie42455 the police will be making this arrest on the basis that they put pressure on the consultants to stay silent or didn’t act on info It will backfire, the managers will argue they believed Letby was innocent, weren’t presented with evidence etc Their interests align with Letby now

Imagine if a public inquiry obtained a piece of evidence so explosive, it destroyed the case against a woman for attempted murder, on the eve of the case going to trial. Imagine if said public inquiry, whether deliberately or by accident, ended up just sitting on this evidence, and as a consequence, the woman was put on trial, then convicted, then sentenced to die in prison. Imagine if the public inquiry was given ample opportunity to set the record straight. To say, "No! This is a misunderstanding! This is not at all what happened here." Imagine the public inquiry refusing to do so. Twice. Over the space of a year. Imagine that.

This morning, I asked the @Thirlwall_Inq once again to clarify when it came into possession of a crucial piece of evidence that, by the Crown Prosecution Service's own standards, materially undermined Lucy Letby's conviction. Here's what I put to them: When did the Thirlwall Inquiry come into possession of the email by Dr Jayaram that impeached the evidence he gave under oath? Was it before or after Letby was convicted at retrial – a retrial that, both prosecution and defence agreed in court, hinged on the testimony and credibility of Dr Jayaram? In their response, the Thirlwall Inquiry reiterated what they'd already told me last year: they are not willing to answer these questions for as long as they consider the inquiry to be ongoing. Keep in mind that hearings for the Thirlwall Inquiry have been over for more than a year. Closing remarks took place in March 2025. And, only two days ago, the inquiry put out a statement, announcing that their final report has been postponed indefinitely.

@gill1109 @Teeth_go_Grey @letbymoj 2700 intercept warrants are granted annually in UK to investigate serious crime. You telling us Letby case was outside this? If course not. The Police bugged her phones for a year before her arrest. Hence why they knew everything. About Doc A too.

@frederi21962339 @gill1109 @letbymoj That's the outcome of the trial. Neither the final judgement or judge's summing up mention intercepted calls from Letby, despite mentioning things such as Facebook searches and SMS messages. Why are these intercepted calls not mentioned anywhere? Imaginary?

@frederi21962339 @gill1109 @letbymoj I'm assuming you mean the Interception of Communications Act (1985). This would be the tool they would use, but it does not mean they did, or demonstrate what they intercepted if they did. Can you point to the results of this so-called interception at all?

@zeebestaround @DJBandana @letbymoj This is the standard defence - that basically the trial was infallible. If the jury ‘believed’ Dewi then that’s that. Dewi changed his conclusions multiple times to fit the ‘agenda’. The jury were misled. The trial and ‘expert’ were flawed. Miscarriages happen.

Shoo Lie was told in by the court of appeal the case did NOT solely relay on his paper. Flannel panel then ran a media circus with cherry picked facts from Mark McDonald
