the point i was getting across is don't attack someone putting in an effort trying to make something nice for everyone, also "dmca would be funny" is basically saying you would enjoy someone taking action to remove something they deemed their product being reused for profit which coincidentally results with suing unless the person complies, so yeh that sounded like you are hopeful they get sued, anyhow poor choice of words and missreading what was implied is a result of this, im glad you managed to talk with sven hes a good bean hopefully you smoothed things over, have a lovely day.

See this is the reason why we don’t have nice things. (Come up with a great idea!) - proceeds to spend months, money and a lot of brain numbing effort to make it a reality, - release the world - gets popular! Lots of people enjoy a fresh new experience in vrchat - Suddenly “NO! YOU DIDN’T MAKE THINGS FROM SCRATCH THIS WORLD BAD! HOPE YOU GET SUED!” -gets proven things are made from scratch- “NO I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!” This kind of behaviour discourages creativity on a platform that actually depends on creativity of its community to grow. Just be happy to have something nice for once.

it was their first time making something like this, it was in beta for a week to find any bugs exploits and they fixed those bugs and exploits because thats what beta's are for, they have worked on this for nearly a year and you expect new content after two weeks? im guessing you havent found the new NPC they added either, which hints at more content in the future

@TehFuzziest those are content already avaible in beta, nothing new, the creepy figure is a new addition ( slender man ref ) other than that, the game is basically the same as in beta, who is truly disappointing, also the game have the same lag issues from the beta itself.

@MsUndyneVR there is a quest to unlock the volcano area to fish in, also the alien is a quest too and im aware they are also thinking of adding plenty more content in the future.

@TehFuzziest i think the last motivation is just putted here because you like the world, the game had a beta release for a motivation not only for the fun, soo seeing a final release who is copy and paste of the beta is not truly thrilling, do not confuse bounty with quests please.

I have been around VRChat since 2018 if that makes me a tourist then pretty much the majority of VRChat is lol I understand Godfall has a bad history I wont defend that however if someone wants to work with a team to make something good for a community I like, then they should go for it, having the mindset to attack someone just because they did something in the past will only inevitably kill off VRChat itself.

@AnxnymousAccnt I will say this time and time again the map does not have models from animal crossing yes they had inspiration from games like animal crossing and webfishing and they look alike however this is just about the FISH world its unfair to drag other worlds into this whole thing.

@TehFuzziest People are huges bitches. They bitching bout the map having animal crossing but none says anything about Murder 4 having TF2 Knife and Prison Escape literal having Fortnite Weapok models on it. Idc if am vulgar but some of these fuckers gotta stick it up where the sun doesn't go.

Im aware that there are already quests to do, and they have some intention on adding more, Again they only released the game officially about 2 weeks ago main focus right now is on bug fixes and security problems once that get ironed out im sure they will want to add more. As for meeting new people yes there are more worlds you aren’t limited to just one thats one of the good things about vrchat however i feel like this world is good because it has stuff in the world around you that gives you something to talk about while also keeping you occupied. Like showing off your big catches talking about something you found or even helping people with a quest it can just be a good conversation starter for people who never know what to say to start off a conversation.

@TehFuzziest not really, if you are on their discord you can already observe the log of the next update, they are not working on the stuff ive mentioned, fishing game is not forcefully related to grind btw lol is related to be relaxing yes, if you wanna meet new people there are other worlds.

@NahtotheNah When you do something successful you will get people trying to bring you down in some way because some people dont like it when someone manages to do something better then them.

@TehFuzziest No way, a world that's doing fantastic and is a lot of fun and now fuckboys who only sit in the Black Cat/B Club mirror with their e-kittens are trying to ruin it?

Its a fishing game, its going to be a grind :3 the whole concept is to be able to relax and casually go through it while being able to chill with your friends or even meet new people to talk to its a great place to actually make new friends and makes the grind easier, im sure the people working on the world are looking at new stuff to add already.

@TehFuzziest this is another issue not only related to vrchat itself, the problem with the fish world is the fact: is another grindy game who is missing especially after the release some important features: daily quest ( actual daily quest) real rewards for the lvl up, less empty areas,etc.

A very good analogy, however there is no need to drag other worlds into this whole thing either especially since nothing was stolen to make the FISH world. More content and games in VRChat is needed, especially since there is always negativity thrown around about VRChat all the time.

As someone who has attended insomnia on a regular basis I really enjoyed going, however how it ended has left a really bad taste in the community, It would have been better to have let it end on a high and pay off the people they owed instead of spending that money to try and start anew under a tarnished name, Events like this take time and patience to grow and its the community that makes it what it is, sadly this is what the organisers had forgotten and it was already too late when you announced i74.
