How it feels to be halfway unemployed again and need to look for a new job, only halfway into my gap year

I am sorry, this alt account is slowly turning into a venting hellhole, which isn't what I want. I've just increasingly struggled to open up to others about how I feel, so it's nice to whine into the void a bit.

It's really strange, as today my social circle, although not as large as before, is more solid than it was when I started out. It makes me wonder why I felt more seen back then, and now, I could post 100 artworks and have one person leave a half-hearted remark on it.

I often feel like it used to be so much easier to reach and interact with new artists when I was first starting out, whilst the past few years have been a steady decline, where I meet and engage with less than before. It's weird. Anyways, have concept art for a new main character

Today I will admit, the art burnout really caught up to me emotionally. Genuinely felt tears brought to my eyes at how tired I really am, and how much I miss the passion I had long ago when I was younger. I’m really sorry for being a sap but I’m not doing too well, I think🫠
