@aij098@PapaJohnsUK My lad won't eat from the other pizza joints. We usually nip in on a Wednesday night on the way home from football training, so you can imagine the grief I'm getting 😄
@PapaJohnsUK@TekkyTrees Why not answer people truthfully it’s been 2 weeks now & I had to order Dominos last week and it’s shite so let us know if you are reopening them, or what’s happened?
@PapaJohnsUK Hi, I drove past one of the "temporarily closed" Nottingham stores the other day, and kitchen equipment was being removed from the premises. Can you confirm whether the franchise owner is selling up?
He’ll never take any credit for it but what Steve Cooper has done for #NFFC and Nottingham is one of the greatest sporting achievements of modern times.
Cooper in his two years has taken a team on life support looking destined for the third tier to the top half of the Premier League, a league he’d not managed in before and after just five years in senior football management. A team twenty three years away from the top level and ill prepared for what was to come.
Everyone you speak to has a similar story but the time leading up to Cooper’s appointment was one of the lowest points personally as a reds fan, we left the City Ground in March 2020 on a wave under Sabri and returned in August 2021 drowning under Hughton.
His impact was instant and historic, people talk about Cooper taking us from the bottom of the Championship but this wasn’t a team that was unlucky to be there, it was fully deserved, to see that same team with a couple of changes walk out at Wembley seven months later was beyond belief.
Belief is important, he believes in this team, this club, this city and we believe in him. We had his back last season because he’s had ours, this is Nottingham, in the good times and the bad. Nottingham Together.
As Cooper I’m sure would prefer us all to do we now look forward, to the next year, two years, ten years, a future that wouldn’t be possible without him and one hopefully that he moulds into a success that doesn’t just have us comparing him to Clark but daring to whisper about Clough.
Congratulations Steve 👏
COYR.
