@LeArielleSimone Oh awesome, I do something similar with a technique called box (square) breathing. You count to 3 or 4 for each of the 4 breath parts in a cycle. Inhale, hold, exhale, hold. Has really helped to calm my thoughts. :-)

i actually just learned how to properly breathe to reduce stress and anxiety. the key is deep breaths and holding for 2 seconds in btwn inhales and exhales.
