@dailysimpsons @jon_vitti @AlJean @MikeReissWriter Sorta related; but I think it was the same April Fools day that FOX also aired Fake Promos based on their (then) current lineup. The Only one I remember is a take-off on "Cops" called "Butchers" (Stock footage of butchers set to the Cops theme song). Wish I could find it.

@IdentEveryHour From Johnny Carson's 17th anniversary show...Incidentally, he & NBC were in the middle of tense negotiations at that time; Johnny wanted to quit, NBC gave him more money for less airtime, cutting the show from 90 min to 60 and adding more "Best of"/guest host shows.
