The NLC is back, and UK League of Legends is getting its own Regional League again (sitting above the UKEL)* 🔴 For 2026 the NLC will have an interim structure, with Benelux ERL TO GameWaves running it in partnership with local TOs 🔴 A shortened spring split will start on May 25th 🔴 The region ‘will evolve into two distinct regional competitions’ in 2027: UK/Ireland and the Nordic countries

They've not even fully claimed ownership of the UKEL post-Alex/Synygy and are heavily reliant on NUEL and Riot to be the adults in the room. Can't cover it all in one tweet🤣

I reckon they got the message that they should have touched base with previous NLC casters, Trouble/Hiprain/Jamada/Initialise/Archarom etc. - veteran talent carry stories with them. It’s a good thing to do a casting call, however, how else are hopeful talent meant to make it?
