@MS_Gusty "Seeds" was a poor choice of words, but yes the top 3 teams all on the same side of a single elimination bracket is a bit fraudulent.

Feast your eyes one the world's worst OWC bracket where the top 3 seeds are all on 1 SIDE OF THE BRACKET LMAOOOOOOOOO

I'm sure the lower OWCS teams would have instead preferred more roster freedom to retool for challenging the top 4. They may still go that route by skipping the Faceit season and just trusting they can win through in open quals (and they can barring a TERRIBLE day).

But ultimately that doesn't out weigh the unfairness of breaking up OWCS teams that have repeatedly out preformed promotion challengers.

New OWCS /Faceit rules COULD long term be good for the player development pipeline by getting some of these Master Div players reps at the next level with OWCS players around them. It is easier to step up in that environment as we've seen with collegiate.

@social_ow Reasonable. Fisher too low (They did get 3rd in two of the three most relevant leagues this semester), but I understand why an SHU player in particular would rate them lower. Long Beach also slightly snubbed, but overall a very defensible list.
