@hiilinen_lassi If you want to go that route, most p5r fights you can absolutely just build an op set and spam physical. P3r theurgies are absolutely broken. There's very few fights that actually challenge that.

@TempustP5X But does it matter what the "best" way is when all the fights topple over to flowcharting rotation? The game never pushes you to go outside the simple, therefore, the combat is simple. I won't say it's bad, it's slightly below P3R/P5R I'd say

While I agree with the opinion that gacha is visual slop with a lot of it's move animations to sell characters, I disagree with the idea that p5x combat is bad. It'll be too long for me to correct OP, and they likely won't listen, so instead, would you guys want a video about it?

The most tragic part of Gacha games are these high quality fantastically cool animations serve exclusively as an ad to forfeit impulse control to roll for the new 5 star. After these animations then exist to be sped to x4 to get through trash combat/soulless resource grinding

@hiilinen_lassi None of what I posted was misinformation. While you can rotation spam many fights, that is hardly the best way to deal with many of them.

@TempustP5X The combat itself becomes quite simple after playing a bit. There really aren't any fights that either don't have a gimmick to play around or have the gimmick just be ignorable/not impactful enough. The vast majority of fights can be cleared by just flowcharting your rotation

@Echochamber77 I think 2x speed is perfect for big story encounters. That being said I do run dailies and such at 3 times, because not much important is happening.

@trickstersmuse @xjvv0X6X9O55675 Will say, there's more varience in the combat that comes from enemy and boss design, so it's not always just funneling damage. I think p5x is quite good at this.

@trickstersmuse @xjvv0X6X9O55675 I agree with this fully, the only argument I have against his statement is that the combat is trash and that people will only ever play just to grind to the next big thing. I think that's true of most gachas, but the core combat of p5x is very good.
The grind is not for everyone

@Kanataent I mean, for most gachas, I agree with this. The gameplay in most is, pretty bad. I think OP probably didn't quite understand the combat because, franky, the game sucks at explaining it's mechanics with the long move descriptions and janky UI. He also just may not like it.
