@DeiIy__ It’s interesting because even some popular characters don’t have any merch I’ve tried looking up haru urara figures and found only some not official ones. So I’m very confused how they choose characters for merch

I base my view of them as less popular by how many entries they have on danbooru compared to other characters, and also from my observation. But ofc maybe there's stuff I might not know. Im curious about the process where companies choose characters to create merchandise for.

Am I missing something from the JP community? Sometimes I see characters that arent very popular be picked often to have merchendise. Could it possibly be additional funding from their owners or something? Or maybe I'm just missing and they're more popular than I think.
